I started the Morning Pages last Sunday. I’ve been successful at getting them done first thing while having my first cup of coffee and toast. That time used to be spending time on checking the weather, my e-mails and Facebook. There’s been a situation at home that I’ve been struggling with. The Morning Pages have helped me to express them. I’ve had plenty to vent about so at least this week I can say that it’s been easy to write 3 pages each morning. Writing things down has help me a lot. I usually finish with a question or two. Like what is the lesson here? Why am I going through this? It’s interesting how some have been answered.

As far as keeping the pages, I don’t really want to do that. I feel like burning them would create a release and would be good. I also don’t want anyone reading them. Is there a rule about that? I have not read anything yet where it says what to do with all the pages.

I had my first Artist date yesterday. I went walking around in the dollar store. Read some children books, had fun looking at Easter stuff and bought packs of bright colored gel pens. Since that wasn’t 2 hours long, I plan on watching a Disney movie this weekend when I am alone at home.

I ordered the workbook from Amazon. I don’t know for sure if I needed it but I think it might be helpful for me to stay organized with my notes. I started the book last week. Just got to the page 38 with my first assignment of writing 3 pages starting tomorrow morning. I like the fact that I don’t have to reread what I wrote. I am planning my Artist Dates for every Wednesdays. I feel that if I write this in my daily/weekly planner that I will be able to plan my outings and actually do them.

I am excited to know that I won’t be alone in this adventuring path.

This book sounds like it’s exactly what I have been looking for. What I need in my life. Learning how to declutter the chatter in my head will be amazing and rewarding I am sure. I feel that I don’t always have clarity with animal communication, removing blocks using tools I haven’t tried yet will be interesting and hopeful.

You really got me thinking about helping other people’s agenda and not having time for my own.

This is my year for self care.

    I am ready

I love the idea that your Artist Date was spent with orchids ❣️ How delightful and so good for your soul to connect with nature. Here in NH we have so much snow and more coming later today. It was just starting to melt. It’s that time of year when I really start needing to be outdoors and put my hands in the dirt. I might have to go visit a greenhouse nearby for now. Good luck with your e-mails! See you Sunday ❤️
