Did you notice any parallels between Quinn’s character arc and Wolf’s? What were they?
How did Wolf and Georgia help to bring Abby and Quinn closer together?
In what ways were the animals and the humans struggling with the same issues?
How did the animals help the protagonists overcome their tendencies to isolate instead of reaching out?
What was Griffie’s role in Quinn’s character development? What changed for Quinn after Griffie fell in the pool? Was there another shift after Griffie fought with the raccoons? What was it?
How did animal communication impact Quinn in the story? How did his view of animal communication change?
Has your view of animal communication changed as a result of reading this book?
Could you track the evolution of Abby’s animal communication ability? How did Abby’s emerging ability to communicate with animals affect her character arc?
Did any of the scenes in which Abby communicated with Wolf and Georgia remind you of interactions you’ve had with your own animal companions?
Have you tried to communicate telepathically with your animal companions after reading this book? How’d it go?
